Now that you have plenty of reasons to visit Portugal, it's time to choose a hotel. It can be a bit of an overwhelming task due to the high number of offers, so we trimmed it down and present you a selection of the best hotels in Portugal by wine region. 

There are many hotels available in Portugal and when the time to book accommodation comes, the task can consume many hours of our time just going through all the offers, reviews, and location to make sure we make the right choice.
We want you to save time and enjoy your visit to Portugal without having to worry about it so we made a selection of some of the best hotels in Portugal and listed it by wine region.
In this first part of the article, we focus on the regions of Vinho Verde,  Trás-os-Montes, and Porto and Douro.

This Quinta t is located on the banks of the River Corgo, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to the river mouth near the town of Peso da Régua. For nearly 200 years the Quinta do Vallado was primarily engaged in the production of Port wine, subsequently marketed by Casas Ferreira.
Quinta do Vallado consists of two buildings with different settings that combine tradition and modernity, a compound that was built and designed inspired by the Douro wine environment.

Quinta Nova Luxury Winery House

Quinta Nova was the first wine hotel in Portugal. It was born from the reconstruction of the old 19th-century manor house, in full harmony with nature inside this 120 hectares property.
